I like fast cars. I like the feeling of moving very fast when the wind opens in the open windows. For me, this is the form of freedom.
If you look around as long as you drive, you will probably find people who love it fast. You can usually find it like vehicles. It will probably be somewhat sporty and has some unique parts – whether it's internal, external or powerful. Intelligent people do not go fast on the road; observe the speed limit and try the best to be polite drivers. But pick these people a path or a private drive, then look at them. Automotive competition is a huge part of American culture. Things like NASCAR races and Sprint Car races were the icons of American races.
But look at other racing types: ATV, boat, dirtbike, jetski, lawn mower, motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle and the list can continue. The more you look at America, the more you see that we want to see who can go faster than the other person. Perhaps that is why America is a legacy of high-end vehicles such as Asian countries or European nations. Americans have always been competitive.
If you're not a fan of any racing, it's okay. This is another great thing in America; You can be a fan of what you want! But the car is the most common if not every American is common. Transport, Leisure, Competition, Work; they all use the vehicles well, and frankly, I do not see a viable substitute.
So, if you are driving with your car fans or you can see one on the road, take a moment and realize that they have captured a part of the American dream – and they work hard to keep it so.
