Maybach luxury cars

Originally known as the "Aircraft Engine Installation Company" Maybach was the airship production, the Luftschiffbau Zeppelin division. Hundreds of nineties were founded by Wilhalm Maybach, German engine designer. His son became the library of the company, which mainly produced Zeppelin's engines until 1900.

The six-cylinder inline engine, the Maybach Mb.IVa, was used by the Germans for high-flying aircraft and airships in the First World War. The Mb.IVa was the strongest of the three models produced, releasing two hundred sixty pause horsepower. There were two more models: a two hundred and ten break horsepower, the other two hundred and forty horsepower.

The first production car was launched at the ninety-third Berlin car show and the company continued to drive the vehicles over the next two decades, while engines were manufactured for marine and rail vehicles. When the Second World War broke out again, Maybach was backed by the production engines to help the war effort. This time, he created engines around Maybach for Panther and Tiger tanks. The Panther was equipped with Maybach HL230 P30 V-12 and Tiger with the Maybach HL230 P45 gasoline engine.

The Mercedes Benz Maybach was presented at the Toyota Motor Show with the Maybach brand. At the turn of the millennium, Maybach 57 and Maybach 62 started, and a few years later, new series were added.
